Bowl turning is my winter diversion. Someone once told me that bowl turning is not a hobby it is a sickness. That may be a little extreme but I have found that it can be addictive.
Bowl turning demands total focus and concentration. I love to stand at the lathe in a warm shop on a cold winter day letting the shavings and the hours fly while turning an ugly piece of wood into a thing of beauty.
